“Dad, I’m not quitting school. I love it there” I say angrily to my father.

Vincenzo, Riccardo and I are in my father’s private office and he called us for a meeting because he heard I was at Elena’s school yesterday.

Yes, I get that father has eyes everywhere but who the fuck gave him that information about me been at Elena’s school yesterday.

“Why did you suddenly decide to go back to school and do your masters? Father asked. “I remember asking the three of you to do that, but you all refused.”

He had pressured my brothers and I to go back to school and do our masters because it’s one of the criteria in becoming the mafia heir, but we all refused after our sister had died, because she’d been our number one cheerleader and rooting for us to do our masters.
