Koko’s POV

The night breeze slipped through the open window and came to embrace me on my bed.

I sluggishly took off the duvet before taking subconscious steps to the window, and by the time my fingers were holding the window frame, the rays of the moon poured on me.

This would be the last moon I would see before becoming the Luna Queen, and that thought alone made my heart race.

The preparation I had been seeing for the past few days had left my jaw on the floor, only yesterday I was looking for my mate when I saw two maids carrying golden plates and other golden cutleries and taking them to the kitchen.
