It was a high-class club, much like any other establishment frequented by the affluent and famous. 

The type of club where one would spend thousands of dollars on each visit. It was not a place for the poor. 

So, the people one would see in a club like this are either wealthy or men and women looking for rich sponsors. And because it is so pricey and exquisite, there aren’t many people who visit it, which makes it ideal for clientele who prefer privacy. 

It took the driver over an hour to get them to the club, and after giving the driver some directions, Lucilla and Avita got out of the car. Lucilla took out her phone and made a quick call before the two of them stood outside and waited. 

“Why are we standing outside instead of entering?” Avita inquired as she adjusted her jacket. 

“It’s better to wait out here than to get lost inside,” Lucilla said gently to her companion.
