Avita looked around the flat with interest as she noticed Gari’s location. 

Gari drove her to his flat after picking her up since it was the only place he could think of that was secure and would provide enough security to put him at peace. 

He didn’t want any bad rumors or scandals spreading about Avita. So, bringing her home was a far better option, though if word got out, another scandal would undoubtedly emerge. 

“Your place is stunning!” Avita commended herself as she took a seat, while Gari approached with a tray containing two steaming mugs. 

As he joined her, a smile spread across his face, and he said, “I am glad that you do. You are the first lady I have brought over to my place,” he stated honestly, like a youngster who wanted to be complimented.
