Miguel arrived in Thandani in little over an hour because it was late at night. 

As he drove through his old neighborhood, his thoughts were filled with Avita, who came into his life and then departed like a ghost without a trace. 

He was curious as to where she was and what she was up to. Was she all right? What was she trying to hide from him? Was she abducted or did she leave voluntarily? If the person who kidnapped his son was not Avita, then where was Avita? 

He had so many questions he wanted to ask but no one to ask them to. When he arrived at the familiar house, he could not help but cringe. He was dealing with someone who was well-versed in all of his secrets.
