Chapter 86. Amelia, I Am Sorry

William's POV

I followed after Amelia quickly and she went straight down the stairs and into the car.

"Amelia, please hear me out first", I said as I got into the car she turned to look at me sharply and I swallowed back my words.

"Are we still going to the event or not?", Amelia asked calmly in her normal voice but I can see the traces of the tears on her cheeks anyways.

I gulped as I closed the door to the car and Scott immediately took the hint to drive out of the compound.

I looked at Amelia's hand as she still gripped that envelope tightly in her hand. I should be able to talk to her when we get to Country V, right? Cause she looks pissed at me right now.

We finally got to the airport and Scott stopped the car. He pulled my luggage for me and Amelia pulled hers. Just the look on her face is enough to give Scott the hint that he should not ask to pull her luggage for her. We got our tickets and soon, our flight number was called.
