Chapter 14. Weekend
As usual, all I can do here is cleaning and cooking. It’s not a joke that it’s hard to work at home. I’m thankful that someone came here every week to clean washed their clothes.
“Mareng, I’ll help you with that.” I tried to say while lifting some dirty clothes that were in the laundry basket.
“Oh, it’s okay mom, I can handle this.” Patting her hand in the air to stop me.
“Then I’ll continue with what you put on.” I prescribe again.
“Have you finished your work in the kitchen? Sir, Gab might see you and scolding you again.” she stopped me.
I slightly pouted my lips as what she had said. She’s witness to how Gabriel scolds me when he sees something wrong with me. It’s good thing that Mareng will say this sometimes.
“I’m done, so I can help you hang up the clothes.” I put my smile back to her.
Eventually she didn’t do anything because I started hanging clothes on the clothesline.
