Chapter 81. Beach
I continued cooking and after a while, I served fried rice, hotdogs, omelet, and bacon on the table. I faced the table and got the sliced bread out of the oven toaster.
“Coffee or milk?” I ask without looking at him.
“Coffee would be better...” he replied.
I turned my back and started making coffee for us both.
“Any plans for today?”
I pursed my lips, pressing the coffee maker. “I don’t...”
“Wanna go watch the movie?”
I didn’t reply, silently placing a cup of coffee in front of him.
“You should eat, you still need to go to work...”
I picked my spoon and fork up and started eating. I know he was stunned by what I said. I can’t force myself to act normally around him, like nothing happened.
“Okay then, if you don’t have any plans for today yet, I’ll just stay here with for the whole day,” he declared.
