Chapter 80. Heartfelt Gaze

“I am really sorry, Alessandra,” I said with my weakened voice.

“Hmm, you better talk to Gabriel regarding your resignation. He’ll surely understand your reason behind of it...” She spoke with cold formality.

I gasped. What do I have to say? I’m sure Gabriel won’t accept my resignation. I’m sure he would force me to stay, but my decision is final.

“Yeah, I’ll send my resignation letter to him through email.” I bit my bottom lip. That’s the only way I could think of.

She sighed again. I know that she’s not happy with my decision. She’s been kind to me from the day I stepped onto their household and we became close to each other although we shouldn’t.
