Chapter 5

Ralph’s POV

My friends were bored so we decided to sneak out of school and head to Brady’s house which is a forty minutes’ drive from school. All we needed to do was to throw dollar note on the security guys bald head and off we went without any problems in the world.

“I’m the lord in this school, students fear me, but her, she is just an exception, who the hell is she?” I thought out loud.

Brady’s house is a huge mansion that screamed wealth. His parents travelled for a business meeting so he is left all by himself with the maids and other workers of course.

We settled down on the huge brown couch in the living room, ordered pepperoni pizza and drinks. We saw a horror movie. Don’t look now by Nicholas Roeg, 1973.

Having exhausted our foods, drinks and we got bored with the movie. We all just sat staring at one another or type away on our phones as silence hung heavily in the atmosphere. We shared a pack of cigarette and everyone puffed out smoke.
