Ava’s POV

We sat in the living room in silence.

No one made a move. Mostly because I was scared.

Ezra had just confessed his feelings to me. I sat there reliving the incident over and over again.

He laid on the couch, passed out. My eyes moved to his sleeping form.

Damn! He was handsome. I should be the happiest person right now but why wasn’t I happy.

What was wrong?

Did I feel the same as he did? Yes. so why was I not…

Ezra moved a little with some words coming out of his lips.

I leaned in close to get what he was saying.

I pushed back.

I couldn’t believe this. Ezra was the playboy kind. He had constantly told me that there can be nothing between us, especially since he was my brother’s best friend.
