Chapter 342

Signs, placards, flowers, and flags were everywhere as Steve escorted Paula down the streets of their home town. Barricades had been set up in the street, maintaining a ten foot wide path for the party. Well-wishers and revelers were packed from the barricades back to the store fronts, and many were leaning from second and third story windows and balconies as they yelled their approval and threw confetti at each member of the wedding party as they passed.
