Chapter 222. Rumors and Edward's Arrival

Arriving at Shandra's house, Luna invited Bastian to stop by for a while to treat his bruised face and a few blisters on the corners of his lips. Currently, they are sitting on the sofa in the living room, while the owner of the house is already sleeping.

"It's so lonely, aren't your twins moving here with you?" Bastian asked, glancing around the very quiet room.

"Of course they come here, now they are sleeping with their babysitter," Luna replied as she put a container of ice water and a small cloth in it.

"What was the problem with your marriage with Ethan that you moved here?" Bastian asked.

"A lot," said Luna, then she sat down beside Bastian. The woman wrung out a cloth that had been dipped in ice water, then rubbed it over Bastian's face.

"Is there a third person?" Bastian whispered as he looked at Luna's face which was very close to him. He can even smell his ex-girlfriend's apple-scented perfume.
