Chapter 20

Hanni ditched on me and I hate her for that. She didn’t come with a reason that she has an emergency business call.

She doesn’t have any business calls.

Darren’s secretary came with some clothes and he let me take a shower. I walked out from the bathroom and Darren turned off all the lights. I walked towards the glass windows and sat on the floor looking down to all the beautiful night lights.

“Do you mind getting up for a second?” I turned to see Darren holding a thick blanket. I got up and he laid it on the floor. It was a thick and big blanket that could fit 3 people. He then walked back to his room and brought out some pillows and another blanket.

“I heated the floor so if you want to sleep here, it won’t be cold.” He said as I sat down. He sat beside me and I kept my eyes on the view.
