“Well, we need to change according to the time. I was bored looking at that old furniture so I talked my dad into renovating it. Come on I will show you. You will like it. And you can meet Dad as well.” Shelly said and held her hand tightly.

Darcy knew she would be in deep trouble if she accepted her invitation and she was in no mood to meet her father so she said quickly. “Shelly, I am sorry but I need to return home. Anna was supposed to go to the market today, so there will be no one to take care of Dad, so I better head back. I will see it some other day.”

Shelly was reluctant to leave her so she added. “Okay Darcy, you can leave after you have the tea. See it’s here, come let’s sit on the porch and enjoy it before you leave. How about I tell Melvin to drop you?”

Thankfully Melvin had gone to his room to freshen up so Darcy said. “Thank you but no need Shelly, I will just walk back home. It would be a good exercise. I am hardly getting any time to go for walks
