“What exactly do you want to know from me?” She is still attempting to conceal the truth from me, although she knows that anytime she tries to lie in front of me, I am already aware of her lie.

“I’d like to hear the truth from you. Will you tell me the truth now, or will I continue to blackmail you in the name of selling the land?”

“No, you won’t be able to blackmail me in the name of the land since I’m no longer interested in purchasing that land from you.” Her voice sounded as if she was fighting to keep her pain from surfacing.

“Tell me what’s going on, Riya,” I said while holding her hand in mine.

“No, if I tell you, you’ll pass judgment on me.” She told me about the fear she had hidden in her mind.

“It is not the first time that I have ever passed judgment on you.”

“True, but...”

“But why don’t you trust me now when you used to effortlessly express everything in your heart with me?”
