Payback Time

Rachit’s POV

“Riya, what are you doing here?” It took me aback to find her at the hospital so late at night.

“I’m here...” I could tell by her trembling tongue that she had listened in on all of my and the doctor’s conversations.

“Have you heard of everything?” I inquired, frightened.

“Will you tell me what’s wrong?” She inquired, her eyes questioning me.

“Please, Riya, keep this secret from anyone.” Riya has heard what I’ve kept secret from everyone. What am I supposed to do now? Will I be honest with her?
