Soft Corner?

Riya’s POV

“Riya, how are you today?” Rachit’s voice irritates me, but I can’t vent my rage on him professionally because his work is flawless.

“Rachit, good morning. I’m perfectly fine.” I ignored him and walked toward my cabin before he asked me any more questions.

For the past two weeks, he has been annoying me. He never misses an opportunity to flirt with me. How many times have I told him that nothing will ever be the same between us again, but he refuses to listen? He has taken this thing on his ego, just like everything else. I’m not sure why he thinks if he continues to insist in this manner, I will eventually accept him. How do I explain to him I don’t want to make the same mistake and be labeled an idiot again?

“Riya, your black coffee.” Rachit walked into my cabin and slid the mug of coffee in front of me.

“How many times have I told you? You should address me as madam, but even such a minor detail of mine slips your mind?”
