Chapter 63. Dinner With the Edwards
At the farm, Sasha held a toy car watching the little boy sitting on the staircase.
"I miss my mum so much. I wish she was here with me." Tommy hugged his dog Spark sniffing back the tears. He had insisted on taking the dog when they moved which Mr Johnson obliged.
"Are you sad because your mother couldn't come?" Sasha walked up to him holding the toy car behind her back.
As the dog growled at her, Tommy kept tapping on its back and didn't bother to respond to her.
"Don't be sad Tommy. Look, I brought you a gift." Sasha sat beside him handing him the toy car.
"Thank you aunt Sasha but I don't want a toy." With a frown on his face, he pushed the toy away.
"I know you miss your mum but your dad is here and he is very happy to be with you." Sasha smiled trying to cheer him up.
"They won't let me see dad, grandma Mary told me he is very sick." He kept h
