I took a seat on the bench in the training area, still catching my breath from the intense workout. James joined me, a slight smile playing on his lips. He seemed to be reminiscing about something amusing. Curiosity sparked within me, and I couldn’t help but inquire.
“Hey, James, you look like you’re lost in thought. What’s on your mind?” I asked, intrigued by the hint of amusement in his eyes.
He chuckled softly and leaned back, taking a moment to gather his words. “Well, kid, let me tell you a story. It was back in my heyday, when I was still fighting professionally. I had a reputation for being a bit of a wild card.”
I leaned forward, eager to hear the tale of this legendary fighter and the unconventional match he had been a part of.
“It was a big match, one that would determine my standing in the boxing world,” James began. “But, you see, the night before the fight, I found myself caught up in the celebration. Let’s just say I may have had a few too many
