Chapter 143

Third-Person POV

Talisca stood amidst the aftermath, the lifeless bodies strewn across the room. He surveyed the scene, his gaze lingering on the fallen guards and Paulo’s motionless form. A sense of finality washed over him as he realized the need to dispose of the evidence.

With calculated efficiency, Talisca gathered the bodies one by one, carrying them to a designated area. The stench of death filled the air as he meticulously arranged the fallen, preparing them for their final resting place. The flickering light of the nearby torches danced upon his face, casting eerie shadows that mirrored the darkness within his soul.

He doused the bodies in flammable liquid, the acrid smell permeating the air. Taking a moment to reflect upon the lives that had been extinguished, Talisca struck a match, igniting a blaze that consumed the remnants of the fallen. Flames engulfed the corpses, the crackling sound of burning flesh punctuating the silence of the night.
