Talisca’s paranoia grew like a raging storm within him, fueled by the mounting pressure and his desperate need for a way out. He reached for his phone, his fingers trembling as he dialed Superintendent Carolina Lopez’s number, hoping for a lifeline to escape the tightening grip around him.

As the phone rang, Talisca’s heart raced, his mind consumed by thoughts of evasion and survival. But there was no answer, only an empty void on the other end of the line. The superintendent, the one he had believed could facilitate his clandestine entry into the United States, seemed to have vanished into thin air.

Frustration gnawed at Talisca’s nerves, his impatience turning into a simmering rage. He paced the room, his footsteps echoing with each step as he cursed under his breath. The walls seemed to close in around him, the weight of his crumbling empire pressing down upon his shoulders.
