Before leaving, I decided to take a look around the burnt house first.

As I stood outside the burnt house, the charred remnants of what was once a home surrounded me. Jax’s description of the peculiar scene replayed in my mind, and a mix of curiosity and amusement washed over me. I couldn’t resist taking a closer look and observing the aftermath of the fire for myself.

As I stepped cautiously through the debris, my eyes scanning the surroundings, I couldn’t help but let my imagination run wild with funny thoughts and absurd scenarios. It was a coping mechanism, a way to bring some levity to the otherwise grim situation.
