As I took a deep sigh of relief, knowing that Theodore’s case had finally been resolved, my phone buzzed, indicating a new message. I glanced at the screen and saw that it was from an unknown number. Intrigued, I opened the message and read the words that appeared before me. It was from the same person who had been instrumental in helping me make significant arrests. The text instructed me to meet them in a discreet location.

A mixture of curiosity and excitement coursed through my veins. I couldn’t help but wonder what new information or opportunity awaited me. Yet, I also felt a tinge of apprehension. The anonymous informant had proven to be trustworthy so far, but there was still an air of mystery surrounding their identity.
