I was already stressed by the flow of our conversation to the point that I couldn’t turn the curler correctly on my hair when I resumed curling it again.

“It’s you!” I reached Lucile.

She was just being silly while talking to me, and she’s good at curling up with me. I need to look presentable and be able to be the most beautiful woman at the party. Just my trip.
