“He will come. Your daddy will come, okay?” I hid the sadness in my eyes with my smiling lips. “Go back there and join your friends to eat and enjoy.”

“Okay, mom! Love you!” After Audrey kissed my cheek, she ran to the table of her friends.

As you would have guessed, she wasn’t wearing such a heavy gown.

Now that I get back to my business, I’m still contacting Henrix to ask if he has plans to go here... because I’m getting discouraged again. I have so many missed calls to him, but he still doesn’t answer. Especially now that I know that he’s with Maui, I’m still trying to figure out that he might want to catch up with Audrey’s party.

But the thing I forgot was that... it’s my daughter’s day and most especially, their day. It turns out that their anniversary coincides with Audrey’s birthday. Today is also Henrix and Maui’s anniversary as a couple.
