“Eat that quickly, Aud. You’re getting late for school—”

A rang from the door stopped me from talking. “Make sure to finish your meal, huh? I’ll just see who it is.”

I went to the door of my condo to open the first visitor of the day—and to my surprise, it’s Henrix… Holding a small paper bag. His lab coat was hanging from his elbow and he dressed like he’s off to work but dropped by my place for something… to pass a paper bag?

“What are you doing here? How did you know we were staying here?”

“Because I trust my instinct, Kris,” he replied confidently. “During your workaholic days in Aether, you used to live separately from us and you just moved to a condo because its location is close to Aether. I presumed you’re going back here… and it looks like I wasn’t wrong.”

He handed the paper bag over to me then. “Here is Audrey’s snack for today. I remembered that today is Friday. And, uhm… you remember I was assigned today to prepare her snacks?”
