I pull away and say, "Baby," but he doesn't seem to hear me. Instead, he starts kissing me all the way down my neck and to my breast. I moan out, "Maximilian," as he nibbles and sucks all over my breast.

"I need you, Rosie," he says, taking off his thin shirt. "I need this badly." He kisses me again right away.

I'm almost ready to let go into his soft, warm body that’s covered in tattoos.

He's hurt, I try to remember. "And I need to help heal your wounds, Maximilian." I finally get away from him.

He takes a big breath and wipes it off. There is blood on his forehead and on his lip. "Wow, look at that! You're my cure, I'm well again." He tries to grab me again, but I get away quickly.
