"Via, Sebastian is right. Not right now," I say as I kiss her cheek. "Use the last few minutes you have with him to let him hold you."

She frowns. "But I-" She drifts off as she bites her bottom lip.

"Via, your dad's downstairs. We just got his approval—" Sebastian drifts off.

"And my son is across the room—" Lance was fast asleep on the box sofa we set up for him. He was perfectly in the middle and trapped so he wouldn't fall. Additionally, he wasn't a deep sleeper. I wish he was, though.

"I'll be quiet—" I stare at her blankly as she says that.

This girl—stay quiet? Doubtful.

"I promise I will—please." She begs, and I falter at her pleading.

Sebastian and I exchange a look, and I slightly nod at him. Sebastian then gets up and goes to the end of the bed. I instantly pull Via into a deep kiss.
