I made the decision to completely disregard the odd voices that were commenting on who he was having dinner with and instead concentrated on finishing cleaning all of my berries. As I went back to my bowl of vanilla yogurt, I began to incorporate the berries into the mixture.

"Will he call me back?" I mumbled to myself, finishing adding all the berries.

After washing the strainer, I placed it on the drying rack and then walked to the sink to wash it. I reached for the jar of granola and poured some of it into the bowl I was using.

In spite of everything that had happened, Sebastian had not yet phoned me back, which caused something to stir inside of me.

My instincts told me to disregard them, but I chose to ignore them anyhow. I went to the living room, where I immediately grabbed my phone and a dish of yogurt that had berries.
