I roll my eyes. "Sooooo," I say, looking away from Kol and back at Aiden and Ethan.

Ethan suddenly kisses Aiden's back one more time before he unwraps his hands from around Aiden and helps Kol with the tablecloths. "Well, that's actually something I've wanted to talk to you about." He lets out a nervous laugh. "Star has been asking if she can see you again, and things with my mom haven't been the best." He drifts off. "So, I was wondering if it would be cool if we asked your dad if we could crash at your dad's house for the holidays?"

I nod. "I don't even know why you seemed so nervous. Like you said last time, my papa's an easy-going guy. I'm sure he'll say yes."

"Really? Via, you're the best!" He pulls me into a hug. "I seriously don't know what I'd do without you or Ethan," he whispers more to himself than to me, so I preten
