"This is embarrassing" Her cheeks turn into a light pink shade. "But do you by any chance have some clothes you can lend me?"

"Uhhh, yes of course. Give me a second.'' I walk to my room and get a few pieces of clothing. I walk back to the room she's staying at and hand it to her. "I hope this is okay."

"Yes this is great." She looks up at me. "Thank you and have a goodnight." She closes the door.

I walk down to my kitchen and grab a glass of water.

"God Maximilian, why am I always looking out for you man?" I mumble to myself as I sit down on a stool in my kitchen counter, facing my outside backyard.

I look at my pool and notice the calm water. "Why do I always put myself last?" I mumble to myself again as I down the rest of my water.
