Joana's POV

João made a suggestive sound.

"You're more interested than before in this case, aren't you?”

"It's intriguing, I confess.”

"Confess that you found the deta student a hell of a hottie," he said in an accusatory tone.

"Wez, I've never spoken with a laugh, but the lie was obvious.”

"Right, I won't insist, you must already be burning out of shame. I'll save some for later, when you get to the office," he said with an evil laugh. "We'll be waiting for you, little boss.”

With a quick farewell, I disconnected the call.

Now that João had mentioned Pablo, I thought about the day before. The sound of his voice, the perfectly large and muscular body below that ridiculous prison uniform, and the smile of those who could seduce any woman. If he and Dennis were put side by side, I confess that I would be in doubt. But that detaed was an even more unattainable person for me, taking into account our completely different worlds.
