"What is it?" Mya, who was seated opposite him, laid her warm palm on the crook of his elbow. "You've only been asleep for ten minutes. Did you have a dream already?"

Denzel released a breath that did nothing to ease the burden that weighed heavily on his shoulders. "Yes."
