Sophie woke up with a sharp gasp as if she had been deprived of air for the longest time.

"Fuck, I was about to take you back to the compound," Denzel exclaimed as he let out a sigh of relief.

"Why? What happened? Wait, why am I on a bench?" Sophie asked and forced herself into an upright position.

Denzel furrowed his brows. "You don't remember. You passed out without warning. It's been almost..." He checked his watch. "Twelve minutes, Sophie."

Sophie puckered her lips to the side from disbelief. "Bizarre. Anyway, I'm perfectly fine right now. Shall we continue? I have a feeling that we're very close."

"Are you sure?" Denzel prodded, concerned about her health.

"I am," Sophie confirmed.

Later in the afternoon, Sophie stopped in front of an ancient-looking catholi
