Chloe’s POV

Just as I went down the stairs, I suddenly got dizzy. I held the wall for support as I stayed glued to a spot. I shut my eyes closed and opened them.

What was happening to me? A few seconds later, the dizziness disappeared. I resumed descending the stairs till I got to the entrance of the lobby. My phone beeped. It was a text message. I stopped and pulled it out.

I did bother reading it there. I stepped out into the sun and boarded a taxi.
