Chloe’s POV
“What do you mean?” I asked. “I’m young. I don’t have—”
“This isn’t about age,” she interrupted gently. “Your body is under severe stress. Elevated blood pressure. Fever episodes. Significant weight loss. Emotional trauma.”
I stared at her. “That doesn’t mean—”
“It does,” she said quietly. “In your case.”
My fingers dug into the sheet beneath me. “I came here to talk about termination.”
She didn’t flinch.
“I understand,” she said. “But I need you to listen very carefully.”
Something in her tone made my chest tighten painfully.
“If you attempt to terminate this pregnancy,” she continued, “you will die.”
