Chapter 25

Felix's POV

I walked through the front door of my house, feeling a sense of relief at being back home. I had been away for a week, trying to clear my head and figure out what I wanted to do with my life. But as soon as I stepped inside, I knew that things were not going to be easy.

My father was waiting for me in the living room, his arms crossed and his expression stern. "Where have you been?" he demanded.

I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. I knew that I had left without telling anyone, but I had hoped that my family would understand that I needed some time to myself. My father was not happy about my decision.

"I needed to get away for a while," I said, trying to keep my voice calm. "I needed some space to think."

"You can't just disappear for a week without telling anyone," my father said, his voice rising. "We were worried sick about you."

"I'm sorry," I said, feeling a sense of guilt wash over me. "I didn't mean to cause you any worry."
