Chapter 42. Michael Confesses to Eleanora

Michael sat on the bed and Eleanora sat beside him. "Nora and I dated for two years. Some months ago was our anniversary. On the day of our anniversary, I didn't call her and I didn't send her a message because I wanted her to get the idea that I was not interested in the relationship anymore. That night, I went over to see her with flowers and I apologized and we kissed."

Eleanora was listening carefully to his words in order to know the right questions to ask and the right words to say to him.

"Few days after that, I realized I was killing myself by having her as my girlfriend. I started hating her for no reason and all I wanted to do was to end it all."

"Why didn't you then?" asked Eleanora.

"I couldn't because I didn't want to hurt her feelings. She was this fragile girl with a kind heart and I didn't just want to break up with her for no reason."
