Chapter 56. Honest Words

"Monina...?" he softly called her name.

But Nina was too surprised to realize he was too close. She did not open her eyes, but his voice sounded very near to her. She covered her face and crouched in her seat.

"You...! You turn around, please!" She panicked.

As he himself was startled, he quickly turned around. But did not move away.

"I'm sorry," he was so engrossed in gazing at her that he didn't even notice his own triggers. It was as if her scent was something his senses knew well.

Nina was convinced this guy was not beyond redeemable. He can still hold himself even at the most crucial moment.

"How is your sense of smell?" She asked.

"I think I can handle them," Boaz answered.

"I wanna try if I can do the same..." Nina boldly spoke, but her heart was hanging over a cliff.
