Chapter 29
"Guess I need to stay away from here more often," he said as he came up for air.
I smacked him on the chest in fun.
"What do you want to eat for lunch?" He did so. "I'll go and tell the omegas."
"Did you order waffles for me this morning?" I did ask.
"Yes, I did," he told her. "I thought that you might like something different."
"I love waffles," I told her.
"I'll remember that," he said. "What's on the menu for lunch?"
I said, "How about a cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate milkshake?"
"Yum, that sounds good. He said, "I'll have the same." "Take a seat. I'll be there in a moment."
Simon says: Lucas, Warren, and both of them came to lunch with us. Everyone ate burgers and fries.
Lucas asked, "So, are we going to school tomorrow?"
I said, "I plan to."
"I'm not going," Simon told them.
"You're going to have to let it go at some point, Simon," Warren told him. "What's done is done, and it can't be change
