Chapter 87
I know he told me not to follow him, but I had to. I didn't want to leave him on his own when he was so weak. I went to the training fields to look for him, but he wasn't there. I looked in the bedroom, the living room, and everywhere else I could think of before going to his office. He was at his desk writing out checks.
"Aren't you mad at me?" I did ask.
"Of course I'm mad at you," he told her. "Why on earth wouldn't I be mad at you?"
I asked, "What did I do?"
"What you did doesn't matter. Jacky, it's what you didn't do. "You didn't tell me I was giving you so much trouble," he said.
"You didn't give me any trouble. You were just not doing your job." I told.
"You know Liam will always try to pull me out of my hole, but I thought you would do the same for me," he said.
