“Funny how we change positions now.” Hatchett scoffed and shook her wrists. By doing so, the cuffs and chains clanked together, creating an annoying noise.

“Where are my parents?” I questioned her with a threatening growl. She paid me no heed but blankly stared past me. To my mate. I moved a step sideways to cover the view. Felt Jacob’s glee through the bond by doing so.

“Answer me, Hatchett,” I sparingly said. She raised her head and glared at me. “You act like you remember, Addison. But you just got lucky with these!”

She shook her limbs and meant the silver cuffs, dipped in iron-melted extract. The demons’ weakness. I sighed and asked the two, who were on her side. Both were cuffed with the same silver-iron-dipped chains as Hatchett.

“You guys seemed to be much easier
