Chapter 182. At Long Last
We heard a knock on the door, and it was Beta Trent. “Luna, please excuse my behavior.”
I just stared at myself in the mirror and waited for Aunt Mia to let him in. When there was silence for a few seconds, I turned around and looked at the three of them.
“Sophia, you are the Luna now. Today’s even your official inauguration.” Aunt Mia chuckled as she gently patted my shoulders. “Don’t think that you are being rude to me. Frank and I made this decision long before what happened to you.”
I was just about to worry that it would be presumptuous of me to act like the Luna in front of her. She beat me into it. But because she said that, I felt at ease. I nodded at her and softly called through the door, “Please come in, Beta Trent.”
He smiled once he saw me and bowed down to the three of us—me, mom, and Aunt Mia. He nodded at my two friends. Then, he faced me and said, “You can just call me Trent, Luna.”
