Chapter 190. Eternity with You
Everything came back to normal. The air, the noise, and the sound of my mate’s heartbeat. Jacob unconsciously shifted back to his human form and tried to pace his breathing. Wiping my tears away with the back of my hand, I slumped and hugged him while his back was still on the ground.
He coughed, and I was about to pull away so that he could breathe, only to be pulled back into his arms. “Don’t go, Sophia.”
“Where would I even?” I manage to ask in between sobs.
“I had a dream where you left me. Y-you were almost buried to the ground, and I tried to stop it.” His hands gripped my back tighter than before. Afraid that if he lets go, he’ll lose me for good.
“That is but just a dream, my dearest Alpha. I’m here with you, always and for eternity.” I snuggled in the comfort of his neck, and he did the same.
“An eternity with you..” he whispered, and I heard him sigh in relief. “That’s the best thing that could ever happen to me, my Luna.”
