“What?! No way!” I argued but he persisted. Jacob laid down beside me and lull me to sleep, releasing his calming pheromones.

It was midnight when I suddenly woke up and noticed the empty space beside me.

‘Where are you?’ I asked Jacob through the link and he immediately replied, ‘My baby’s awake already?’

‘Jacob, I literally slept for eight hours!’
