“Hey! Unfair! You had a head start!” Jayden complained and wolfed out too as he tried to snatch my children away from his twin brother.

“If I see one measly scratch on those two, I’ll kill you both!” I threatened, to which they just laughed it off.

Rubbing the letter and opened it slowly to see that it was my mother’s handwriting.

Thus, it read:

‘My dearest Sophia,

Would love to have fun with you all, but I suspected only you young-ins would be present. Besides, I had a premonition about your brothers’ mate, and I certainly am tired of dealing with it. Sorry honey! Please protect the poor lady on my behalf. ‘

My brows creased as I didn’t have any idea or clue of what she was talking about.
