Lizzie pulled away, and I saw a sprinkling of tears run down her cheeks as well. Lizzie slid back to Jack and Jordan, letting them surround her and help her back on the counter next to Mia. When they once again became the center of attention, I gratefully used the opportunity to slip back.
Mia and Lizzie were the best of friends, practically sisters, from what I could tell. I know they pretty much grew up together, and when they had moved to Portland, they got a job at the same place. It was rare to see one without the other. That was up until lately when they were collared by their Masters.
Mia had hooked up with Master Reed right after he had taken over Bean Me, the coffee company that we all had worked for at one time. I had heard rumors not too long ago that he had bought the company to get closer to Mia after a brief encounter between them here at the Dungeon. It was a sweet, romantic tale of a millionaire tycoon wasting money to get the woman he loved.
