The following day, Allison was upset. Teresa came to pick her up. After getting in the car, she turned her head to gaze out the window.

“As you can see, I have read the post. The news spread like wildfire. You are free to share your thoughts on the matter in any way you see fit. You are aware that we can have a conversation, right?”

Allison gave a small shake of her head “I have nothing to say.”

“You went with him to a club? I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. You were never one for going out to clubs and parties. How was it that he was able to persuade you to go with him?”

“Hmm. He told me that you would go there with Max. I thought I would not be alone but then Max told me that you did not come with him.”
