Ryan looked behind Allison. As soon as she turned around, she could see that his friends were making their way there. However, when Ryan shifted his gaze on them, they smiled politely, nodded their heads, and proceeded to sit with Teresa. Teresa looked at Max. Max introduced Owen to Teresa. Then they started to talk.

“Sit.”

After hearing Ryan, Allison turned her attention to him. He indicated for her to take a seat in the chair that was directly across from him.

She sat down and tried to find words to talk to him.

“I wanted to talk about last night.”

“What about it?”

“I think you misunderstood me and Ethan.”

“Misunderstood?”

“Yeah, I mean. What you saw, nothing was like that.”
